Hi guys,

I've been asked to let you know about the official "back to college" kayak clubs weekend away that's happening this year.

Some people from UL have organised so that UL, Galway, Cork hopefully a few UCD heads and some others will meet up for a bit of surf during the day and then a campfire and banter for afters!! 

Its going to be on the last weekend in August - 29th to the 31st in EASKEY!

So if anyone fancies going I'd say it will be good craic

Some of your will have known Mitch, he was a fresher last year and was diagnosed with cancer towards the end of his first year in UCD and the Canoe Club.

Just to let you know he passed away earlier this evening.

The funeral mass in loving memory of Eoin will take place in Clondalkin Church on Friday Morning at 11.

The family have asked that anyone from the club that may be attending wear their club hoodies.

I'll be doing the inventory of the club gear in the boathouse this Tuesday, the the 20th of May. If anyone is around and wants to drop by and lend a hand it would be very helpful.

We're having a video night next Thursday the 1st of May (thankyou cormac) on campus at 7pm!! (Bit of a break from exam stress!!)

It's going to be a mini-fundraiser for the club Dee Cup (only about 2/3 euro in) so we'd really love it if everyone made the effort to come along!!!

Will post up the room number etc during the week.

Hey folks,

I am ordering the club hoodies next Thursday 24th April. There are 2 available colours - Navy with a pink embroidered disco paddler crest and pink with a navy embroidered disco paddler crest. Here is what the back of the 2 hoodies will look like:







The total cost of the hoodies is 35 Euros. They are available in S, M and L.  The hoodies will only be made to order, and with payment in advance.  Post up on the board with your order (detailing colour and size) and pay Lucy.
