I'd like to be the first to thank everyone who came on the second club trip to the alpes. I have to sat that I had a fantastic time, got some great paddling done, partied hard most nights, partied too hard some nights (puking on bar in gay night club incident).
big up to:
luftborough uni: for winning the first clubs boaterX on the gyr. four teams of three competed: Edinburgh, luftborough, trinity and UCD. i think the order of finishing was luftborough, edinborough, trinity, UCD. and it's pretty much my fault that we came last due to some apalling rope throwing at the starting line. to chris in particular for subduing a member of our group for a week.....
Aberystwyth Uni: for partying like heroes with us and providing for a lot of safety meetings. in particular to meix: after sitting trough an hour and a half of slapper john chatting her up an dshooting him down with the line: "god, your awfully friendly...", she scored him the next night though .
also to chris, mark and james who stayed on an extra week after their club left and partied it up with us... I think some of these guys may come over for kerry....
GMIT: in particular to AJ and william. for abandoning their own club in favour of partying with us on several nights. and for other stuff too....
Edinburgh: generally for being great craic and coming along to the boaterX and parties on the Island. to pierre for stealing our lollipop.
Trinity: for adopting themselves into our trip towards the end.
and to all the other fantastic people we met out there.....
and most of all to us: for partying like heroes for two weeks, for paddling and swimming like our mammies were watching.
Great paddling, great craic, hope to do it all again next year....
