Access to Boater X event
« on: March 02, 2006, 01:21:34 PM »
A rather rough and ready map is now up on the website showing access:
www.ucd.ie/canoe/30th/boaterx.html

Paddlers meet up in Lynam's car park for 10:00am Saturday for registration & event briefing. We will walk to Jackson's from there.

Non-paddlers can park at the Annamore take out bridge - there's a wee car park in an old quarry on the left just past the fire road. Then walk up the fire road for about 10 mins, there is a bend in the fire road to the right, you can get to Jackson's fro here easy (will be marked on the day).

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do no block the road at the Annamoe take out bridge. Also you cannot drive up the fire road.

Wear your woolly undies it might be a tad cold...

simon, firstly advising girls to wear wooly undies will put people of staring at girls because quite frankly wooly undies are a turn off, i mean what were you thinking . . . . .

secondly, i only said firstly for emphasis . .. . .

Tom, woolly undies are a turnoff only if you manage to get far enough to see them... (and by that time you are usually too turned on to care...)
A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.

Wouldn't wolly undies be very itchy. A boy should be provided to keep every girl warm.
Learn from the mistakes of others.

You won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

not true. just knowing they're there is creepy. it nags at the back of your mind, like that feeling that you left the water heater on this morning, or forgot to lock your computer in the Engineering computer room when you went to the bathroom, or should have peed before you got into your river gear.

and the feeling just grows and grows...
