May I be the first to say that the Canoe Club has great balls!

Well done to all involved.  And you even arranged for me not to have a hangover the next day.  Champion night!

Do tell us more, Ash...
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?  Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?  Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

yeah thanks a million to everyone involved it really was a super weekend!
I think the fact that I had still had a complete blast even though I hadn't eaten in three days and couldn't even drink  :sad4: just shows what a brilliant day (and night!) it was!

oh and as it was possibly the first time ever I'd been sober and seen canoe club boys en masse on a dance floor I finally realised why we always get funny looks dancing in doyles!!!

Roll on the 33 and a third birthday celebrations!! (Obviously the next big mile-stone in the club :) )

Claire obviously mispelled above and meant to say the turdy tree and a turd celebrations  :occasion7:   :occasion5:  :occasion7:

Thanks a mill to everyone who organised the boatx and ball. It was a fantastic day/night. An an extra special thanks goes to whoever put me in the final and gave me a shiny new buoyancy... much appreciated   :D

If anyone would like to see me test the buoyancy of the buoyancy by swimming down a river I have Friday off work and was thinking of going paddling if I can get enough rescue folk out. It's meant to rain all week  :D

It was the tuxes that made us dance that way.
