Level 4 Assessment - France, 17 June
« on: May 30, 2006, 11:33:13 AM »
Hello!
The ICU will be running a level 4 kayak skills assessment on the 17 June from our Alpine base in Chantmerle. There are still some places left.

You must have a level 3 cert, but you do not need to have done any formal level 4 training.

A full syllabus of the award is available here: http://www.canoe.ie/Training/AwardsQualificationsScheme/SkillsAwards/tabid/978/Default.aspx

It basically assesses a paddlers ability to maintain complete control on grade 3 water. It is also a pre-requisite to starting a level 3 coach training programme.

If anyone is interested, please email conor@canoe.ie

Cheers, look forward to seeing the crew again this year, even if they are dressed in drag. Just don't kidnap davy again - we need him!

I think we'll be the judge of that!  :P
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?  Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?  Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
