Polo is a spectator sport. We decided we'd make it more interesting for the spectators by making the players more miserable. It's the same principle they use for reality TV.
Why stop if nobody stops you?

I am afraid this has not been decided. We should have the information in the next few weeks. There are a couple of = costs associated with the competitions to fianialised before we work that out.
will let you all know soon the cost.

Outdoor polo on a February night?

if you spent more time on rivers and less time being a polofag it probably wouldn't bother you.

man the fuck up, etc.

The Canal in Kilcock isn't too bad from then. (Previous experience from squad sessions) but it will however make the polo more realistic as if you play 4 a side crap teams can still beat the better players in a small place like a pool but in the canal the competition is blown right open over a range of levels so the better teams deserve to win. Limerick last year was slightly better and showed that reams cant just rely on one or two good players to win a competiton but a team effort. Or do what we do, get a whole team of irish players and have the craic. Kilcock suits us better as we can don't have to bring as many boats around for the weekend as we will pick up boats as we nedd them.

surely allowing the "crap teams" a chance to beat the better ones is blowning the field right open and not the other way round?

Also "crap teams" thanks alot! Please see this article http://www.sportsmanship.com/extractingheadfromarse.pdf
