Just to improve the hype, my first Alps with the club was the 44 strong one (46 at one stage I think). In 18 days I got around 35 different river trips done on nearly 20 different sections of different rivers. Amazing.

Easkey is unvariably one of my favourite weekends of the year. When I tell people over here of what it's like to party back home, I mostly refer to Easky.
Why stop if nobody stops you?

Yep, we'll say 7. 30 at the board.
It's like, people only do these things because they can get paid. And that's just really sad...

I was in college and I can't find the board because someone stole the wall, probably the same people who stole the gauge bloody wicklowians I assume it's the same spot.

Sorry - I mean the yellow sculpture where the board used to be. The sculpture's still there, the board has disappeared...

i love the way you do that kieran!
When you join the canoe club you drink,
When you drink you get drunk,
When you get drunk you go to sleep,
When you go to sleep you commit no sin,
When you commit no sin you go to heaven-

Basically paddling leads to an everlasting afterlife :)

Yes, yes, you're outstanding in your field  :D

Anyone staying over there late June early July? Can't get over until about 18 June.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?  Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?  Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Ahh that's a pity! Most of us are planning to be back by the 15/16th of June.

Nice, we're in Italy at the moment and probably here till the 7th or 8th - levels are nice! Going to head to Slovenia for a few days and then onto France till the 22nd. France is supposidly trés grande so we're putting it off a bit, we may head back to Italy for a few days on the way back from Slovenia!
