Saturday The 23rd January

Hey guys, welcome all back to college for another smashing semester.

So now that college back, so too is the Canoe Club, with our First river trip of the year on Saturday

If the water levels have dropped off enough we should be doing a savage stretch of the avonmore that a lot of you haven't done before, thats right, Rathdrum to the meetings.

If however there is more rain/snow melt from now until saturday and the avonmore is huge, we shall be running the liffey. So keep an eye on the board to see whats going on. But in the mean time, sign up here if ya want to come.
Usual story meet at 10.00 a.m. at the boathouse, leaving UCD 10.30 SHARP.

Nope, its the section a good bit after the buckys bridge to clara vale section.

The section above trooperstown is annamoe bridge to trooperstown

There's Guinness' rapids on the higher section and a few smaller rapids.

That's on the upper section, rathdrum to the meetings in a nice run lots of little rapids just keep an eye out for any trees.
