Yeah, it might be an idea to bring a few of the hp boats so those who want to do the long distance can try them out, and we can see which ones leak and fix them in time.

Even if we don't manage to get them out this weekend I'd encourage people to give them a go - they are interesting and you are more likely to win shiny medals if you race in one.

They are selling the old style burn for 850 and 839 in great outdoors. You should also keep a very close eye on freestyle as every so often a really good deal pops up.

As for practising racing boats, you should try them all out to see if you can get the one that doesn't sink. You don't win races when you're carrying half of the river with you and you have to stop a few times to empty it. (fibreglass repairs are easy to even the most bizarrly of untalented idiots by the way)
